Dry Wine
Sweet Wine
This indicator represents the perceived style from the driest to the sweetest. Sometimes two wines can have the same quantity of residual sugar but taste differently according to the grape used. “A” is the driest like a Muscadet and “E” the sweetest like a Sauternes.
The Viognier grape has an exotic fruit aroma and grapey-ness and is a bit different, and this lovely wine, made by the dynamic Foncalieu, is mouth wateringly delicious and is really easy to enjoy by itself or with lighter foods. A delicious example of proper Viognier!
