This indicator represents the body of the wine – “1” being the lightest like a Beaujolais and “5” being the most full-bodied like a wine from the Minervois.
This is made from 60 year old Malbec vines – this is a big wine, that has been aged for two years in 500 litre casks so that the flavour is not markedly woody. Great with game and spicier foods.
